The Simi Valley Police Officers Association has extended its support to Keith Mashburn for City Council and Bob Huber for Mayor in the November election. Both are well-known pillars of the community with long records of public service.
Click Here For More InfoLast week, Mayor Paul Miller writes a letter to the editor in the Simi Valley Acorn stating his intent is not to give support to a candidate, but to “educate and inform the citizens of Simi Valley.” According to the mayor, staff concluded that E-Verify has a 56 percent failure rate, which he compared to the flip of a coin.

Click Here For More InfoFriday afternoon, August 6, Bob Huber filed his nomination papers to run for Simi Valley Mayor, at the Simi Valley City Hall.
“I am honored that hundred of citizens, numerous elected officials and many community business leaders are supporting my efforts to bring renewed leadership to City Hall.,” said Bob Huber.
As a candidate for the past several months he has been promoting transparency in City Hall, promoting a free ombudsman program to help our citizens and the institution of the E-Verify system to create jobs for Simi Valley residents. Huber has been promoting monthly town halls, so that government comes to the people instead of the people needing to go to the government.
